The Abacos is a superb base for all we have to offer: Instructional Charters, Owner Training,  Crewed Charters, ASA lessons, and an awesome array of  adventures, on and off one of our amazing vessels.

Tony himself is a self-proclaimed adventure addict: he has been sailing and windsurfing since the age of 12, competed in hundreds of mountain bike races, walks and hikes every trail possible, climbs mountains, runs ultra- marathons, surfs, kiteboards, and is a fanatical wingfoiler! Salt water runs in his veins!! 

Claudia is the brains behind the whole operation. She also happens to be a qualified chef, certified and commercially endorsed competent crew, mountain bike guide, swimmer, free diver, photographer and media guru.

Tony is a certified FGASA ( Field Guide Association of South Africa) guide, and registered with DEAT. ( Department of environmental affairs and Tourism.)

He holds a commercially endorsed RYA Yachtmaster Ocean 200 ton captains license, a commercially endorsed SAS Coastal Yacht skippers ticket, a PADI Open Water One dive certification, an IKO Level 2 Kitesurf instructors ticket, and was the owner of an IKO Affiliated Kitesurfing School with over 15 years’ teaching experience of kite surfing and windsurfing. 

With over 40 000 miles of sailing experience predominantly in the South Atlantic and Southern Ocean… you’re in good hands with Captain Tony. 

Amongst his many other adventures and experiences Tony has completed the gruelling 956km Cape Epic Mountain Bike race twice, run Ultra trail Cape Town 65km twice , the Addo Elephant Ultra 76km, and his latest adventure, the 250km self – sufficient Kalahari Augrabies Extreme Marathon in the Kalahari desert, South Africa’s most gruelling foot race.
